The most famous Labrador Retriever
The most famous appearance of this dog breed was in the film Marley and Me. This dramedy (comedy/drama) and still true family film was released in 2008 and is based on the memoir of a dog written by John Grogan.
The plot is about a newly-wed couple (Jennifer Aniston /Jennifer/ and Owen Wilson /John/) who is thinking about having a baby, but first decide to stall Jennifer’s biological clock by adopting a dog to see if they are really ready for a family. We can follow the life of Marley, the dog, through loads of happy moments and problems in the family for 14 years, when finally Marley’s life comes to an end.
In this story we can see what kind of dogs Labrador Retirevers are: they are loving, playful, compassionate and very active,especially in their first few years.
